One of the reasons I signed up for this practice is that I’m not naturally graceful. I bang into things all the time, feel clumsy, and don’t have a great sense of where my body is as it moves through space.
I spent 10 minutes in meditation, starting with a guided voice from a CD. Mainly I felt how great it is to be home with my family. It gave me a warm sensation, like when you drink brandy on a cold night.
When I stopped my practice, my wife was still in meditation. I very carefully moved dishes and glasses to the kitchen area, very aware of what my legs and arms were doing as I moved through the room.
I consider that something of a small victory and the kind of boost I’m seeking.
